Doris Ann Reimel

Doris Ann Reimel (Grant) Age 83, passed away peacefully at her home in Mokena on June15,2015. Doris was born on September 25, 1931 in Johnston City, Illinois. Doris was preceded in death by her father Mark Grant, mother Zonie (Aaron), son Stanley, and sister Mickey (Crafton , Tabla). Doris is survived by her husband Robert, son Keith (Teri), brother Mark Grant (Beth), sister Shirley Gilbert, sister Afton Barnes, granddaughter Alison Reimel and grandson Brian Reimel. Doris worked in Real Estate and Insurance over the years in the Lincolnway area. Doris was a kind friend, loving wife, loving mother, loving sister, and an energetic Grandmother. Doris will be missed by all who knew her. A special thanks to Joliet Hospice and Senior Helpers of Mokena for their help to Doris and the family in her final months.

Visitation will be held on Friday June 19th at the Vandenberg Funeral Home, 19604 South Wolf Road, Mokena, Illinois 60448 from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM with a Funeral Service to follow at 2:00. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to Joliet Hospice.
