Doreen Mary Juris

Doreen Mary Juris nee McCarthy went peacefully with the angels on Sunday October 27, 2019. Doreen is survived by her loving, devoted husband Matthew of 61 years. Doreen leaves behind 5 children; Deborah (Phil) Dizonno, Kimberly Benedetto (Jay Gonciarczyk), Matthew (Kathy) Juris Jr., Mitchell (Rene) Juris and Michelle (Peter) Craven. Doreen and Matt raised their 5 children together in the suburbs of Illinois before heading to Naples, FL to enjoy a long retirement in the sunshine. They recently returned home to Illinois to spend time with their children and their 16 wonderful grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren. Doreen was born in Cornerbrook, Newfoundland, Canada. She and came to the United States as a young lady. She leaves loving family, including a sister and a brother and their families behind there. She also leaves behind 2 sisters in laws and 2 brothers in laws as well as many nieces and nephews and god children. Doreen will be greatly missed by many, including her new community at Eversgreen Senior Living, where she found lots of friends, fun and comfort in the last year. Services for Doreen will be private.
