Diane "Sammy" A. Kelly

Diane “Sammy” A. Kelly, age 81, late of Crestwood, IL, passed away February 4, 2025. Diane loved watching movies, traveling, reading, shopping, the color purple, going out to eat, learning about history, playing Bocce Ball, and enjoyed a good glass of wine. She was a phenomenal speller and had a great sense of humor. Diane was an amazing listener and would always give the best advice. Most of all she loved spending time with her family, especially with her grandchildren and great-grandchild.

Loving mother of Victoria (Stephen) Kane, Sharon (Patrick) Adams, and Michael (Donna) Kelly. Cherished grandmother of Kristopher (Karina) Kane, Sarah (Jeffrey) Preyss, Luke Tetzloff, Evan Adams, Shane Kelly, and Grace Kelly. Cherished great-grandmother of Jonathan Kane. Caring sister of Darlene (John) Buwolda, Edward (Christine) Erickson, Deborah (Mark) Havens, and late Edwin “Allen” Erickson. Dear daughter of the late Edwin and the late Isabelle Erickson. Wonderful god mother of Olivia Marszalek. Kind aunt of several nieces and nephews.

A Celebration of Life is pending Cremation rites entrusted in Vandenberg Funeral Home in Mokena, IL. Interment will be Private.
