David James Hersrud

It is with great sadness that the family of David “DJ” Hersrud announce his sudden passing on Monday, November 21, 2022, at the age of 33. Preceding him in death are his Mother Diane Hersrud and his Uncle Jim Szykowny. DJ is survived by his father David R. Hersrud and his beloved daughters Gianna and Dahlia. He will be forever remembered by his sisters Iris (Eric) Gustavson, Natalee Roberto, Theresa Olivi and Debra Hersrud; Dear Uncle to Abigail, Lillian, Izabella, Seraphina, Charlotte and Leo. Fond Nephew of Geri Sutterlin and Susan Sepulveda. A loving cousin to many. Dave had numerous friends and was loved by so many. His generous spirit, and kind heart left an impression wherever he went.

Visitation, Friday, November 25, 2022, 3:00-8:00 PM at the Vandenberg Funeral Home, 17248 Harlem Avenue Tinley Park, IL. 60477. Funeral, Saturday 9:30 AM at the funeral home to St. George Church for Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 AM. Interment to follow in Resurrection Cemetery Justice, IL.
