Daniel Lee Spiess

Daniel Lee Spiess, age 49, late of Manhattan, IL, passed away December 19, 2023. Dan had been a resident of Minnesota for the past 10 years and he took a lot of pride in his line of work as a heavy equipment operator. He was also awarded employee of the year in 2022. Dan had a huge love for snowmobiling and the mountains. Dan had a heart for serving and helping people with addictions like he endured during his adult life.

Beloved father of Steven Spiess. Loving son of Connie (Charlie) Beagan and Steve (Cindy) Spiess.
Caring brother of Lindsay (Matt) Quigley. Kind Uncle of Tessa, Jett and Kase. Dear grandson of
Mildred Murray, Char Spiess, Henry Pillard, the late Robert Kreml, the late Lloyd Spiess, the late Martin Murray, and the late Patricia Pillard. Cherished former husband of Amber Spiess.
