Cynthia L. Pepper

Cynthia Lea Pepper nee Zimmerman age 60 late of Mokena, IL. Passed away peacefully in the comfort of her home surrounded by her family after a two year battle with breast cancer. Beloved wife of James. Loving mother of Jenny (Steven) Bartkus and Adam Pepper. Proud grandmother of Carter, Rose and newborn Eva. Caring sister of Litta (Steven) Dennis. Devoted daughter of Robert (Fern) and the late Betty (nee Clesson) Zimmerman. Cindy was born in Hudson, IL. Graduated from Normal Community High School in 1970 and received a Bachelor's degree in education from Illinois State University in 1973 the same year she married James Pepper. This November would be their 40th Anniversary. Cindy taught elementary school and also became part owner of Pepper & Associates, Ltd. Cindy was a childhood member of the Hudson 4H. Member of the New Lenox Methodist Church. She loved to golf with the Palos Woman's Community golf club, read, play card games with her family, and travel with Jim. In lieu of flowers donations to Hudson 4H Club, St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, or the Susan J. Komen for the Cure Foundation.
