Connie Dee Hawker-Bantz née Keim.
Formerly of Tinley Park and Bloomington/Normal, IL, went home to be with the Lord on this day November 29, 2024. Born February 11, 1949 in Moline, IL to Edison and Thelma Keim of Silvis, IL
Lived all of her life in Silvis and the East Moline area until she married. Graduated in 1969 from the United Township High School in East Moline, IL

Connie Married Robert E. Hawker on May 8, 1971, and started her family in the Chicago area. She had two children; Robyn (Hawker) Escobedo and Daniel Hawker (Cindy) and Lynda Peca (Jeff). Robert died in July, 2000. Connie was gifted three loving grandchildren from her daughter, Robyn; William Hawker, Adrianna and Mateo Escobedo.
Connie found happiness once again when she married Jim Bantz from Cullom, IL in 2004. She was also blessed with two more daughters and a son. Jamie Quick, who had four children; Andrea, Amanda, D.J. and Ashley Matherly. Kelly Whaley (Jeremy) and their son Alden Swicegood. She also has several great, grand children.
Connie is preceded in death by late husband Bob, her parents Edison and Thelma and her brothers; Thomas, Robert, Timothy, James, Windell and Roger and sisters Patty and Jackie.

Visitation will be held Friday, December 6, 2024, from 3:00-8:00 PM. A Chapel Service will commence at 6:00 p.m. at Vandenberg Funeral Home, 17248 Harlem Avenue Tinley Park, IL. 60477. Inurnment will be held privately in Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery.
