Charlotte A. Sabotnik

Charlotte Ann (Sassone) Sabotnik, 81 of Frankfort, IL passed away  on October 15th, 2023. She was born on October 21st, 1941 in Blue Island, IL. Charlotte was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She took great pride in her Italian heritage and Catholic faith. Charlotte owned her own catering business, Charlotte’s Catering for over 20 years and was known for her delicious food that brought joy to all.
Charlotte is survived by her daughters, Debi Day, Christy (Michael) Hargens, Sherri (Kent) Marley, Toni Sabotnik and her sister, Rose Mary Sassone. She also leaves behind 10 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren, (with two more expected soon). Charlotte was preceded in death by her husband, Edward L. Sabotnik, her father Charles Sassone and her mother Sylvia Sassone.
A mass will be held in Charlotte’s honor on November 8th, 2023 at St. Donatus Church in Blue Island, IL at 10:00am. Immediately following the service, a brunch will be held at the Dancing Marlin restaurant in Frankfort, IL. Charlotte’s interment will be held privately with her immediate family the following day at Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery.
