Celinda "Cindy" Mayer

Celinda “Cindy” Mayer nee Bateman, age 58, of Orland Park entered into God’s kingdom on April 10, 2023. Cindy is survived by her loving and devoted husband of almost 35 years, Thomas. She is also survived by her four children, Molly (Adam) Jordan, Brian, Kara (Logan) Pollei, and Hannah, her parents, Robert and Jane Bateman, and father-in-law George (late Geraldine) Mayer. Cindy was known as “Nana” by her adoring grandchildren Luka, Olivia, Eleanor, Mae, Thomas, Bryce and Brooks. She was the older sister to Brian (Annette) and Sarah. Cindy was also a loving Aunt to many nieces and nephews. She will also be deeply missed by her fur babies, Holly and Summer. Cindy was happiest being outside and tending to her gorgeous garden before relaxing to any baseball game she could find but most importantly, her beloved Chicago White Sox. Cindy made the most of every opportunity she had to support her children and grandchildren in all they did. She was loved and cherished by many and will be deeply missed.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held for Cindy on April 16th, 2023. There will be a visitation hour with the family from 1:00-2:00pm prior to the service which will begin at 2:00pm at First Church of the Nazarene, 12725 Bell Road Lemont, IL 60439.
