Carol M. Kovacevich

Carol M. Kovacevich nee Balkas, age 81, late of Palos Heights, IL, passed away July 4, 2024. She was a parishioner of St. Alexander Church in Palos Heights, IL and a former parishioner of St. George Church in Tinley Park, IL. Carol enjoyed participating in dog shows for 10 years with her beloved poodle Maddie. Most of all she loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.

Beloved wife of David A. Kovacevich for 56 years. Loving mother of Andrew (Karen) Kovacevich and Kimberly Kovacevich. Cherished grandmother of Benjamin and Luke. Caring sister of Elaine (Bill) Fitzgerald, Thomas Balkas, the late Rita (the late Tyke) Steffen, and Phil (Mary Alice) Balkas. Kind aunt of several nieces and nephews. Dear daughter of the late Anthony and Agatha Balkas.

Lying in State, Tuesday, July 9, 2024, from 9:00 a.m. until time of Funeral Mass at 10:00 a.m. at St. George Church, 6707 175th St. Tinley Park, IL 60477.
