Carl C. Kark

Carl C. Kark, age 73, late of Tinley Park, IL, passed away January 24, 2023, at his home. He was a U.S Army Veteran, served from 1970 – 1971, and was a lifelong patriot. He was born January 14, 1950, in Chicago, IL. Carl was a forklift driver for Pactiv Evergreen` in Frankfort, IL. His brothers remember him as friendly, affable, frugal with his own expenses (he loved bargain hunting), but generous to those in need. He enjoyed riding his bicycles throughout Tinley Park and nearby forest preserves, and was a regular at the Water Park after his retirement. He was an avid follower of the White Sox and bet on the Bears until he was tired of losing. Loving brother of Richard (Joan), Gerhard (Denice), and Ronald Kark. Dear son of the late Gerhard and Jeanette (Gniewek) Kark. Caring uncle to a niece and nephew. Per the family’s wishes, there will be no memorial gathering or service. Inurnment will be private at Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery. Cremation rites entrusted to Vandenberg Funeral Home, 17248 S. Harlem Ave. Tinley Park, IL 60447.
