Caitlin M. Van Der Westhuizen

Caitlin Maureen van der Westhuizen (née Wyatt) was born to Richard and Ellen Wyatt on April 13, 1993. She became the beloved wife of Stefan on July 25, 2016. She was born into eternal life on August 23, 2019.

Caitlin is survived by her loving husband Stefan, cherished daughter of Richard and Ellen Wyatt, and adored by her nine siblings Kathleen (Alan) Bieniek, Susan (Chris) Holman, Caroline Wyatt, Colleen Wyatt, Richard (Candice) Wyatt, Bridget (Jason) Kramer, Meghan (Michael) Faxel, Erin (Joseph) Wyatt-Elenteny, and Patrick (Amy) Wyatt.

Caitlin is an unforgettable Aunt to her 32 nieces and nephews: Colin, Jack, Matthew, Ian, and Nora Bieniek; CJ, Shannon, Sean, and Maggie Holman; Michaela (Charles) Mayes, Ellen, Connor, and Ireland Moyers; Will, Bailey, and Wyatt Flynn, and Riley Plencner; Emmett, Brendan, Haley, Olivia, and Mia Wyatt; Jason and Ryan Kramer; Griffin, Keira, and Brenna Faxel; Rory and River Elenteny; Johnny Wyatt; Charlotte Moyers; and Gabriel Mayes.

She will be forever missed by her cat Kylie and dog, Lucy Girl, who “just loves love.” Caitlin is remembered for her love of Stefan, family and friends, contagious laughter, spontaneous dancing, and forceful bear hugs. She had a passion for poetry, art, music, Irish dancing, and nails. Caitlin will live on forever in our memories and hearts.
