Bernard J. Knowski Jr. age 62, late of Tinley Park, IL. Beloved husband of Donna Knowski nee Anders. Loving father of Christina Kelly, Mary, Michelle, and Stephanie Knowski. Caring brother of Cindy Barron and Dr. Lynn Knowski. Dear uncle of Patrick and Michael Quaid. Bernie played Tenor Saxophone for several bands, including The Morraine Valley Jazz Band, Good Times Band, Steve Thomas Band, IIT Jazz Band, and was the founder of the Jazz Band that played at the Original Maple Tree Inn; Bernie truly loved Jazz music. Funeral Thursday May 15, 2014, 9:30 AM at the Vandenberg Funeral Home 17248 S. Harlem Avenue, Tinley Park, IL 60477 to St. George Church, Mass at 10:00 AM. Interment in Chapel Hill Garden West. Visitation Wednesday 3:00-9:00 PM.
