Bernard H. Fahle

Bernard Fahle, age 71, formerly of Tinley Park, was called home on May 8, 2018. Bernard served proudly in the United States Navy during the Vietnam conflict and was awarded the National Defense Service Medal. He was a 34 year employee of ADT and member of IBEW Local #134. Bernard was a Harley Davidson motorcycle enthusiast and is survived by four children: Donna, Nicole, Brandon, and Brett and three grandchildren: Alyssa, Jack, and Dylan. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, June 2 at Vandenberg Funeral Home located at 17248 Harlem Avenue, Tinley Park. The family will welcome visitors beginning at 10am, followed by a memorial service at 11:30am. Internment ceremony held privately at Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations made to veterans’ charities would be appreciated.
