Anne T. Minnich

Anne T. Minnich nee Shanahan, age 93, late of Chicago, IL, passed away December 13, 2024. She was a parishioner of St. Symphorosa Catholic Church for over 50 years. Dedicated nurse for over 40 years. Avid lover of reading and drinking coffee. Most of all she loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Beloved wife of the late Edward J. Minnich for 70 years. Loving mother of Mary (Leroy) Szczepanski, Edward (Sandra) Minnich Jr., Thomas Minnich, William (Suzanne) Minnich, Gerard (Denise) Minnich, the late Jean Marie Minnich, the late Margaret (Andrew) Speer, and Daniel (Julianne) Minnich. Cherished grandmother of 22 grandchildren. Cherished great-grandmother of 34 great-grandchildren. Caring sister of the late William (the late Maryanne) Shanahan, the late Patricia (the late Don) Leeney, and the late Jack (the late Maureen) Shanahan. Dear daughter of the late John and the late Anna Shanahan. Kind aunt of several nieces and nephews.

Visitation, Friday, December 20, 2024, from 3:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Vandenberg Funeral Home, 19604 S. Wolf Rd. Mokena, IL 60448. Prayers at the Funeral Home, Saturday, December 21, 2024 at 9:30 a.m. to St. Mary Church in Mokena, IL for 10:00 a.m. Funeral Mass. Interment will follow at St. Mary Cemetery in Evergreen Park, IL.
