Anita M. Hayes

Anita Marie Hayes was called the highest office the Father could have asked her to serve. She left this earth and moved on to a higher purpose Feb 12th, 2022. She was greeted by her sister Pat, father Michael, and mother Sylvia.

Anita recently retired having served 30 years at St. George Parish as the Religious Education Coordinator. From there, she made many friends and assisted with the spiritual paths of many in the Tinley area. She was an excellent helper and assisted anyone who needed help.

She loved to volunteer and assisted with the various food bank activities at St. Julie Billart Parish as well as helping in the rectory after-hours. In her spare time, she enjoyed gardening and traveling. Anita was a frequent visitor to the western states and loved the vast majesty of God's creation.

She is survived by her husband Howard, their son Matt, daughter in-law Melissa along with their diva cat, Katy.
