Alice Gardner

Alice Lorraine Gardner, age 76, passed away peacefully May 5th, 2020 with her son’s by her side. She was born on May 4th, 1944 in Joliet, IL to Alvin and Doris Andres. Alice grew up in the Tinley Park area and resided in Manteno for the last 25 years.
She is survived by her son’s Steven(Laura)Gardner of Lombard IL, Scott(Liz) Gardner of Beecher IL. Her three grandchildren Kaitlynd, Scotty, and Madeline Gardner. Her two sisters Judy(Don) Dandurand of Kingsberg CA, Jeannie Costa of Bradley IL. Two Nephews Craig(Luci) and Clint(Jullie)Costa. One niece Sherry(David)Hancock. Four great nephews. She was preceded in death by both parents.
Alice Spent her career helping graduates in the registrar’s office at Governors State University. She has spent the last 15 years enjoying retirement with her friends and family. She enjoyed playing cards, bingo, having dinner with friends and family, and watching her favorite shows.
A celebration of life will be held at a later date due to the ongoing pandemic.
