Jose “Joseph” M. Chavez, age 68, late of Blue Island, IL, passed away November 18, 2024. U.S Army Veteran. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, camping, and boating. Avid fan of the outdoors.

Beloved husband of Deborah Chavez (nee Bartest) for 35 years. Loving father of Ben Chavez and Alex (Willie) Vega. Cherished grandfather of Quinn, Eli, and Hunter. Caring brother of the late Jessie (Georganna) Chavez and the late George (Dawn) Chavez. Kind uncle of several nieces and nephews.
