Edward G. Corcoran

Rev. Edward G. Corcoran, age 91, Chicago Archdiocesan Priest, ordained in 1956, passed away peacefully on Monday, March 28, 2022 at Nazareth House in San Diego, CA. During his ministry Rev. Corcoran served at St. Margaret of Scotland, SS Faith Hope & Charity, Our Lady of Grace, St. Therese of the Infant Jesus, St. Agnes, St. Fabian, St. Leonard Parishes, and as Spiritual Director of the NAIM Conference for 11 years.
After his retirement in 2000, he moved to San Diego, CA and stayed actively involved at Mission San Antonio de Pala, St. Bartholomew, St. Mark, St. Therese of Carmel, St. Catherine Laboure, St. Francis of Assisi, St. Columba Church, Naval Consolidated Brig, and Nazareth House.
He is survived by many nieces and nephews, grand nieces and nephews, as well as great-grand nieces and nephews. Dearest son of the late Jeremiah and Catherine Corcoran. Caring brother of the late Sister Mary Colette OLVM, the late Hannah (Hank) McLeod, the late Helen (John) Biesen, and the late Agnes (John) Spicer. Cherished Uncle to the late William Biesen and the late Gerald Spicer.
Visitation Tuesday, April 19, 2022 from 3:00-9:00 p.m. at St. Elizabeth Seton Church, 9300 W. 167th St. Orland Hills, IL 60487. Lying in State, Wednesday, April 20, 2022 at 10:00 a.m. until time of Mass of the Resurrection at 11:00 a.m. at St. Elizabeth Seton Church. Interment at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery.
