William "Bill" Mcgowan

William "Bill" A. McGowan, age 62, of Mokena, passed away on November 10, 2024. A proud U.S. Air Force veteran, Bill was a devoted and loving husband, father, son, and brother. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him.

Bill was the beloved husband of Marie McGowan, and the loving father of Anna. He was the cherished son of Bridget and the late Frank McGowan. Bill was also a dear brother to the late Jim McGowan, Tom (Kathy) McGowan, the late Frank (Annie) McGowan, Rob (Laurel) McGowan, and Bridget (Jerry) Rickert. He was a treasured brother-in-law to Joe Mikos, Jim Mikos, Paul Mikos, and Andrea (Ed Lupia) Flynn. Bill's memory will also live on in the hearts of his many nieces, nephews, and extended family members.

A proud and dedicated member of Local 1 Ironworkers for over 30 years, Bill's work ethic and craftsmanship were second to none.

A celebration of Bill's life will be held privately for family and friends. Cremation rites have been accorded. Arrangements entrusted to Vandenberg Funeral Home, Mokena.
