Shelley Ann Maves nèe Moore, age 49, late of Mokena formerly of Wilton Center, IL. Beloved wife of Andrew Maves. Loving mother of Alyssa, Breanna, and Connor Maves. Cherished daughter of Richard and Marlene Moore and daughter in law of Gene and Holly (Maves). Caring sister of Jennifer (Ryan) Kramer, Shannon (Troy) Greenquist, Jill (Steven) Prokop, and sister in law of William (Misty) Maves, Terren (Wulan) Maves, and the late Dusten Maves. Kind aunt of Cameron, Kasen, Caleb, Lillianne, Kinsley, Sophia, Coltin, Rylan, Kadence, Jarred (Sabrina), Adam, Reagan, Russell.

Shelley is a graduate of Peotone High School in 1992, Undergraduate in Biochemistry from the University of Illinois and a Doctorate in Biochemistry from the University of Illinois. Shelley was also a member of St. John United Church of Christ.

Lying in State Wednesday, September 4, 2024, 10:00 AM until time of Service 11:00 AM at St. John United Church of Christ 11100 2nd Street, Mokena, IL. Interment in St. John's Cemetery. Visitation, Tuesday September 3, 2024, 3:00-8:00 PM at Vandenberg Funeral Home, 19604 Wolf, Mokena IL. 60448. In lieu of flowers, please consider a memorial to St. John's United Church of Christ or to the American Cancer Society.
